Sol is about to finish an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He is a passionate entrepreneur with a strong sense of direction of what he wants to do and how he wants to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
His education background has sparked a passion to design and build sustainable cities. As a native of Nicaragua, the second poorest country in Central America, he has seen the stark contrast between social classes.
His dream is to set standards for sustainable development in rural communities around the globe. He believes that development can coexist with nature, while fostering long-term economic growth. In order to pursue his passion, he co-founded Casa Congo with Youth Advisory Board member Luca Marsaglia.
