Origin Learning Fund is an organization working to break the cycle of poverty by making virtual learning an option for all students and by focusing on other educational challenges faced by indigenous and rural youth. They work to supply students with tablets that offer instruction to children in both the language taught in their schools, as well as their native language. They do this using their O-lab app, which is preloaded with all of their educational content, and does not require students and teachers to have access to internet connection.

In Colombia alone, more than 100,000 children have dropped out of school during 2020, largely because of the financial hardships of the pandemic. Fundación el Origen has brought online learning to 4,000 children and hopes to continue expanding their reach.

In partnership with Rockflower, Origin Learning Fund will work to expand their reach to other countries in need, and to fulfill their mission of working with public and private partners to provide access to training for children and young adults in vulnerable contexts through their technology which is designed for training and education without barriers.
